My child was in an opposite situation. He was in a classroom where all of the children had the autism label. They had so many behaviors, that they all upset one another. But the teacher there had more knowledge specific to autism and there were 2 assistants, at least. Having a teacher trained in autism was a plus, because I felt that he was just floundering in pre-school. This is a shame, because those early intervention years are extremely important! It's nice to have others to talk to here!
