It IS great to hear a success story! But many people with autism across the state especially in rural areas have no programs after school. The schools are mandated to serve, but there are no mandated adult services. What happens when parents are no longer able to care for their adult children with autism? Many programs will only take the ones that have a higher level of functioning. Who will take the others? Institutions?
